Additional factors should be considered when purchasing an artificial Christmas tree. When selecting the location for your tree, measure the floor space needed for the tree. Knowing the available floor space will determine whether you need a full, medium, or slim tree. Measure from the floor to the ceiling to determine the appropriate height you will need for your tree. Subtract one foot from the height measurement to allow space for mounting of a tree topper.
The quantity and size of your ornaments will determine the style of tree you should ultimately purchase.
