Excellent bulbs. Replacing all my old smooth C9 outdoor bulbs. Good Quality and are brighter than the old standard bulbs also. Facets give a great bright look. Best LED C9's I have found. Wish I found these a long time ago.

I ordered these to replace a few of the bulbs that have burned out on our holiday outdoor lighting. I was surprised to find these are heavy duty bulbs, not the light weight plastic I was expecting. Very pleased.

Good, but I like the smooth C9s better
These bulbs are far brighter and superior to anything I have seen in big box stores. I know this because I previously had one of the "ultra-bright" big box sets and it was pitiful compared to this. However, I prefer the Opticore smooth C9 LEDs to the faceted versions. I bought a small amount of both, plus a 25-foot string, for testing purposes since this is such a big investment. The smooth C9s glow more and remind me of the incandescent C9s of my youth. The faceted LEDs don't glow as much because they project the color out farther from the bulbs in those diamond-like patterns. It can create a nice effect too, depending on what you are going for. But the smooth ones remind me more of the classic C9 look. Also, the blues are very intense and create a strong magenta background glow if placed next to red or orange, which I don't like, so we ended up trying to place the blues next to white, yellow, or green to avoid the red/blue/orange combinations.
