These lights were delivered quickly and without any issue. I will re-order as needed, as I create shell art and the lights are used with scallop shells to create with either colored or a solid color string which can be used on a tree or lining the porch roof line. Excellent lights
The full-wave rectifier eliminates the painful 60Hz flickering that most LED sets had a few years ago and the 2700K color temperature of these ""warm white"" LEDs is an excellent match to conventional incandescent bulbs. For reference, the 200000 hour quoted lifetime is almost 23 years of continuous operation. I'll be thrilled if the whole strand works through just 20 seasons of use. Another thing to note is that the limit of 48 connected strands equates to almost a quarter mile of lights. The flexibility of connecting so many strands really helps with the number of extension cords I need to use.

I just don't know how long they will really last. I purchased 15 sets of the the same lights in multicolor in 2011 and already four strands are shorted out.

Great color
I used a bunch of these on a tree in front of my house and was VERY happy with both the color and the brightness. I had worried that they would not cast enough light due to the size, but they lit up the tree perfectly! My only regret is that they are a bit short and I did not buy enough lights.

I have finally found the perfect white mini LEDs after many years of searching. They're very bright and a good color, not the all too obvious icy blue of most LEDs. I have recommended them to several friends and neighbors who've asked about them.The only odd thing is they come in sets of 70. Not sure why that is, guess I'm too used to 25/50/100 light sets.

White LEDs have truly arrived
Forget the faint, sickly blue "white" LEDs of Christmases past. These are the real thing -- truly white. They mix well with miniature incandescents. The look a little puerer, but not enough to throw things off, and a bit brighter. The increased brightness offsets the higher price, because you don't need as many to get an effect. For us, it's going to be an all-LED future.

Warm temperature but not Soft White, LED mini lights
I bought these lights because I am obsessed with the color being warm white. I strung them alongside regular Walmart 3.99 incandescent Christmas 100 strand twinkle lights and they are close; a little brighter and more neutral white but very close. If I had all LED you wouldn't notice at all. For the technically minded out there, I'd guess they run around 2900K-3000K warm white, vs. a 2700K soft white light of regular incandescent. So far I am VERY happy with my purchase. Now let's hope they don't burn out as often, and that, only time will tell.

These lights are worth the money!
We purchased 10 strands of these lights 3 years ago, and recently came back for 10 more. I know the price can seem high for Christmas lights, BUT after three years for the first set no bulbs have burned out! They are bright and beautiful in the harshest and wettest of weather conditions. We purchased LED lights from one of those Club Stores and spent about the same per strand, and had half the strand burn out during the first season. Trust these lights! We do!

No more lost time...I hope!
After putting up my 9 foot tree and carefully wrapping 14 strands of lights onto it using a ladder, the lights went out. I found the dead strands, painstakingly removed them, and completed decoration of the tree. Thirty minutes later they all went out again. That is when I got online, found these and began the process of replacing all with these LED lights. So far I am very happy with them - they are bright and, as is in their name, warm. Glad I found them and ordered them....now if they will last for a while all will be well :) Merry Christmas to everyone!

These are really nice. I ran out with about 1/5 of my tree left to go and thought, who's gonna notice, I'll just run to the local store and buy a 5mm 'soft white' light string. I'm back here because I can definitely see a difference between the strands, so decided to suck it up and pay the extra for these! Compared to the cheaper store brands, they have a softer golden glow and seem to give off more light in a 'halo' around the bulb. This is really nice if you're new to or impatient with stringing lights (I am both!) because the diffused glow is pretty forgiving and blends into the tree branches so it's harder to see places where strings have been hung a little less than perfectly'!

5mm LED Warm White - Excellent!
LEDs have come a long way. These LEDs are perfect for the outdoor holly tree I decorate every year. It is MUCH less frustrating to put up 3,000 lights when all strings functioned perfectly as opposed to the incandescent mini-lights I've used in the past. The warm color/hue on these lights is also very close to that of the incandescent lights I've used in the past. That said, I used both incandescent and LEDs this year and while the LEDs were brighter they did cast a slightly greener hue than the reddish hue of the incandescent mini lights. Truth be told, the LEDs are also still a little expensive, but the cost difference between the LEDs and a premium 4+volt/light incandescent mini string is closing. Bottom line, I will be replacing the remaining incandescent minis next year - the neighbors loved the tree this year!
