The only decent LED outdoor lights
When I decided to replace my beautiful but watt-hogging 'old fashioned' Christmas lights with LED, I had no idea the nightmare ahead of me! I had just gone to the local store and bought 8 boxes of LEDs and put them up on my eves, thinking how smugly how much money I would be saving in electric bills. After about 15 days, the strands began to die, one after another, and by the end of December I had to throw most of them away. The following year, the ones that I'd saved had corroded. I bought different brands, but all had the same fate. Then I checked out the lights from Christmas Lights Etc and read how they had addressed the corrosion issue and that these lights were made to combat the moisture problem. I took a gamble and bought 10 boxes and decorated my house. It has already rained and the lights are all still working! It's a miracle! I am hoping that my investment will be able to pay itself off this time.

Although these were pricier than I'm used to, I do feel they were worth it. They all worked right out of the box and they look beautiful. Nicely packaged. I'm even thinking of getting more because they look so nice.

AWESOME LIGHTS

Good, but different
The quality of these lights is much better than what I saw at the big box stores and I really like the fact that I can connect all 18 strands it takes to go around my house and plug them into one timer at one outlet. As for the appearance, these lights look good, but they will take some getting used to compared to my old incandescent C9s. They are not as bright, they are spaced closer together, the colors are different, and the light has a cool bluish cast. Its a tradeoff between multiple extension cords and timers, power usage, and the occasional melted plug.

Die Hard Glass Bulb fan Converted
I have resisted going the way of LED Christmas lights for years because I was worried about the coloring, flickering and overall quality of LED lights for the eve of my house. These lights are great and because they use Full Wave technology (I'd not heard of it before this site) there is no flicker. The blue is the dark almost indigo blue color you see around these days which was a big hit with my wife. Awesome product.

I had fuses blow on two sets. I was able to replace the fuse on one set after it thawed out of the snow and ice, but the other set was up very high and I was unable to get out the extension ladder to replace it. My house was not lit up for more than half the holiday season. Very disappointing.

The 25 C9 Multi Color LED Christmas Lights are just perfect
We have purchased several comparably sized C9 light strings from the big box stores in recent years, but they have always "died" within 1-2 years. I saw several independent reviews on the web recommending the Christmas Lights Etc brand of C9 lights, and we took a chance on them this season. Right out of the box, I can tell you -- they are the brightest, most robustly colored set of C9's we've ever decorated our front doorway with. They look spectacular from even 100'-200' down the street. Can't speak to their hardiness yet, but given the vast improvement in quality we've already noticed over the big-box light string purchases, I have very high hopes. These are gorgeous, and highly recommended.

These lights are nice. If they last half as long as they are rated they will still outlast me! They aren't as bright as regular lights but I don't care if my house can be seen from space anyway. I plan on buying more next season along with some led icicle lights. I would highly recommend them.

Old Timey Lights using Modern Tech.
LOVE THEM! I'm in my late 40's and remember the large Christmas lights on the house when I was a kid. These lights are a perfect recreation of the old time large bulb look. By using LEDS, my electrical usage is way down making the wallet happier!!! I have 15 strands tied together and no issues at all.

Great product, great service
