These lights are incredibly dim for LED lights. I've used plenty of LED lights before and these are by far the dimmest! If you're looking to blow people away with your house lights then these aren't the ones to buy!

These lights have been up for about a month in rainy lousy weather and work perfectly, not dim as far as I am concerned. There is one design problem. The strings are obviously intended to be connected and doing so gives the wrong spacing between the bulbs at the connection. You will be putting some kind of loop at every connection to make up for the fact that at every connection the spacing will be almost double everywhere else in your string. This looks wrong when you have the lights up and should have been thought of when making strings that connected together.

Purchased three different strands of the C7 and C9 warm white LED lights spaced at 6" and 12" in order to determine which set of lights would look best. I was replacing the net lighting I had used for years at my residence because I was tired of the lights going out every time it rained and discarding sets of nets every year because sections go out. I wanted to see what the lights looked like before placing a large order so I put a strand of each on a bush to see which we liked better. The C9 bulb, in our opinion, gave off a brighter image but we were not happy with the "yellowish" tint the warm white bulbs gave off. I returned the warm white strands I ordered for our test and placed a large order for C9 cool white. The company was great in issuing a refund as I neatly returned the lights in their original packing. Once we received the new order, I took a strand outside to see what they would look like at night and while they are definitely "whiter" than older net lights we are used to, they will do fine. I am looking forward to seeing how the watertight connections of this design will work in the occasional seasonal rainstorm and how long it will be before one of the non-replaceable bulbs burns out.
