What are twinkling net lights? Twinkling net lights are pre-wired Christmas light grids where the bulbs pulse on and off rather than staying continuously lit. SoftTwinkle® by Wintergreen Lighting® is the visual upgrade version — each bulb pulses slowly and independently, creating organic, firefly-like movement across the full surface of a bush or hedge. Is SoftTwinkle® the same as old-style twinkle net lights? No. Traditional twinkle lights blink on and off abruptly. SoftTwinkle® is LED only, with bulbs rated to 60,000 hours. Traditional twinkle net lights are still available in select colors if you prefer the classic blink effect.

How do I install SoftTwinkle® net lights on bushes? Hold the net by its two top corners with the male plug at the bottom corner closest to your outlet. Toss it over the bush like a blanket, then gently pull the corners down and tuck the edges into the lower branches for even coverage with no gaps or bunching. A 4'x6' net covers most standard bushes in under 60 seconds. For a long hedge row, connect multiple nets end to end before draping — align the strings across nets as you lay them out, keeping each net facing the same direction.

How many SoftTwinkle® net lights can I connect end to end? Up to 45 sets end to end from a single outlet — 216 watts maximum. At 4.8 watts per set, SoftTwinkle® LED net lights are among the most energy-efficient options available, and the high connection limit means you can cover a long hedge row or multiple bushes from a single power source without extra outlets or extension cords.
