I wanted to replace several multi function incandescent sets that I have after getting tired of getting blisters on my fingers from replacing bulbs. My favorite function and the only one I used was the slow glow. I was skeptical that the SoftTwinkle would be up to my standards, but I took a chance and they are fantastic. I am very sensitive to the flickering of LED lights, I cannot see any flickering with this product.

These SoftTwinkle Lights are probably the perfect Christmas Light set. I have been looking for a set of multi-color lights that have a gentle twinkle effect, where EVERY bulb twinkles- not just every fifth bulb or so. These are GREAT! The colors are vibrant, and the lights are bright without being obnoxious. I bought eight fifty-bulb sets, and I immediately plugged each one in and they all worked perfectly. Each set started off with all bulbs on and then over the next 15 to 20 seconds they all became un-synched and random, and EVERY bulb twinkled slow and gentle! No more spastic flashing light sets! YAY! They can be used indoor and outdoor, just what I need. I may just have to buy eight more sets. I am so stoked for the holidays!

Love my lights in Louisiana!
I have been searching for multicolored lights that just twinkle for several weeks online and in stores. When I think I have found them and try them out, they end up being a combination of twinkle/flash which is NOT pretty to me. Then I found the Soft Twinkle and decided to try them after seeing their video online. I LOVE THESE!!! Just what I have been looking for, and just like someone else described as "fairy lights" twinkling. I will be ordering more!

Years ago in the early 1960s my mother bought a couple of strings of Christmas lights in which bulbs independently gently went from full on to off and back on. She could never find additional lights of that type, and I have looked for years. Each light independently on these soft twinkle lights goes from full on and then fades to off, back to on. I ordered 2 sets, and was so impressed I order 2 more sets. People sit watching these lights and I hear positive comments. It is funny watching smiling people just staring at these Christmas lights. I am thinking about ordering some more of these lights. They are definitely a "wow" factor.

Great Addition
Ever since I've been buying my Lights from Christmas Lights, Etc., I've bought from no where else. These lights I just bought are a great addition to my back porch. I use lights year round and I'm glad I decided on these, they are an excellent addition.

Wonderful Lights
I originally ordered 2 sets. Then ordered 2 more sets. Then I ordered 4 more sets. Back in the 1960s my mother had bought 2 sets of lights that bulbs would independently flicker to off and then back on. We could never again find those types of Christmas lights. Each light on these soft twinkle lights independently goes from full on to off and then back on. Guests sit smiling watching the lights. Should I order some more soft twinkle lights? I probably will, but I am in the process of moving. I hope that they continue to stock these lights.

We decided to downgrade from a six-foot tall tree to a two-foot tall tree this year. This left us wondering what to do about lighting the tree. We definitely wanted lights that twinkled, but 50 seemed like way too many for a two footer. We figured we would hide about half the string under the tree skirt. Turns out that all 50 were needed, and it looks spectacular!

Right here, this strand of LED slow twinkle lights gives the perfect twinkle, so as not to distract you from whatever you might be looking at. Beautiful soft twinkle on these - really nice! I hope in the future that a variation of these is created with pastel colors and an even slower twinkle, but these are great for now. The warm white is not warm enough for me, but I like these multicolor ones. It would also be wonderful if they would make a Halloween set in orange, green and purple.

The smooth fade in/fade out effect is exactly what I was hoping for. It takes a very short while after you plug it in before the lights blink randomly, but when they do, it's magic! A field of fireflies couldn't do it better. Worth every penny!

Been a while since I bought Christmas lights. I was looking for randomly blinking lights. Not all one color, or chase, or speedy twinkle that gives you seizures. It that old school slow random twinkle. No one has them no big box chains around me etc. Even online a lot of strands were every five LEDs twinkles. These were perfect and remind me of those old school lights we had as a kid in the 80s. The colors are spot on with those old strands too. The small Leads look great and the right brightness. They should last a long time really happy I found them here.

Works as described
I actually needed these for a Halloween prop where I needed some random spots of colored lights. This string works perfect for my need. They do take a couple of minutes to truly "randomize" but soon each light fades on and off randomly. They have a nice fade, not a typical sharp twinkle on and off. It appears that each light works independently and not groups on the same fade pattern. The 5 mm lights give plenty of brightness.

Gentle Colors
Lights were quite easy to put up. The pulsing of the the lights is smooth and gentle. As they fade in and out with a random pattern they manage to engage the eyes, while also relaxing the nerves. JOY!

VERY pretty!!! I plan wrap them around my window frames this season as part of my display. I really like the color and brightness. The two best features (for me) are the softness the lights display when twinkling, and the mode box keeps memory when turned off so the same mode is displayed when powered back on. This is so important!! Worth every penny!!

Just like our tree when i was a child
OMG OMG When i was growing up, dad found/bought bulb-type twinkle lights. you unscrewed the bulb light from the string and inserted the twinkle light.....about 1/3 of our tree was twinkle lights, and i have been searching for true twinkle lights for decades (i'm now 69). everybody else's version of twinkle lights were some sort of flashing; NOT my definition of a true twinkle light. I found this site and ordered 1 string of the multi-color soft twinkle LED lights, based on your video. i just put the string on my 4' fake tree and it's just like when i was growing up!! i am SO PLEASED. i just ordered 2 more strings to fill up my tree. it will be entirely light by twinkles this year.

Close to Perfect
I looked high and low for lights with a slow twinkle and this was the best option I found so I got them. We had previously used a brand called "Lights in Motion," that had many different light settings, but year after year we only used the slow twinkle setting on those lights because we hate flashing and blinking and chasing, etc ... I was unhappy that I could only find LED with this soft twinkle and not incandescent, because I like the warmth of the incandescent lights. They had warmer white lights, but the colored lights were only one choice. Overall, these were absolutely wonderful, but there were a couple of things I wished for. I wished to be able to slow the twinkle just a tad. The twinkle was a little on the fast side, but not so fast that it lost that peaceful quality I have when I look at twinkling lights. They came up to the edge of the speed I like. Also, I do wish there was a warmer quality to the light. Both my husband and I seemed to notice that the greens and blues were dominating in brightness, somehow, making the "cool" quality of the lights even cooler. However, we still very much enjoyed the lights and they still were really great. They gave us a really gorgeous tree this year. I used a LOT of them, probably about 1500 lights. For lights that come 50 to a strand, that was a lot of strands to unravel, and it also was a big investment. Although the warrantee doesn't guarantee them more than one season, I am hoping so much that for the price they last us many years.

I ordered these as gifts for friends & they were very appreciative & said it reminded them of the twinkling lights they remembered from their youth! I really like the one-piece construction as it seems moisture getting inside the light sockets caused the "box store" lights I've purchased in the past to stop working long before the lights natural expiration date was reached. I like the brightness of the lights & if these lights last several seasons, I will be very pleased!
