About the only thing I didn't like about this is the tight twist on the wires. Now, that will likely soften/stretch over time so I am not worried about it. Don't be surprised when you first power them on as they all blink at once, but in about 10 seconds they will be very random. I also bought a color set and like them both very much. Might use these to replace the lights on my garland.

I was dissapointed that only 9 of the 50 lights in the string actually twinkled. I did not see any difference in the timing of the on-off cycle, e.g. no "soft" twinkle. Otherwise, the string of lights was well constructed and should last a long time.

The lights are really good. I've been looking for random twinkle incandescent lights for a long time. The only ones I could find are LED ones so I thought I would give these a try. They are definitely brighter than my other incandescent lights, but they look just fine when they are mixed in with everything else on the tree. The slow twinkle is just so pretty and really dresses up my Christmas tree. I already mentioned these to my son and he has also purchased some. Love the look of my tree. I'm very happy with these lights. All lights are working perfectly!

Twinkle LEDs - One note
These twinkle LED lights are great. I use them on a door wreath that I'd previously lit with incandescent mini-bulbs ... a mixture of continuous on bulbs and individual blinking bulbs, but the latter or hard (if not impossible) to find any more. The only caution - don't panic when they first come on and the entire string seems to blink in unison. In a few seconds they each find their own frequency and the random "twinkling" effect is in full force.

Exceeded My Expectations - Wow!
These lights are gorgeous! The warm white color is perfect; they look just like the perfect warm white of incandescent but with LED energy savings. The Soft Twinkle effect is so much better than other twinkle lights because its gentle and smooth and so much more random-looking. This is my first year using them, so I am unable to speak to longevity, but I would absolutely purchase these again based on my initial experience.

I'm using these lights outside in the small trees along my garden path, and they are holding up well so far. The strand seems to be of good quality and I love the slow twinkle. They are not as warm as I would have liked but I'm keeping them because they are OK and it's getting harder to find true warm white lights.

I have been looking for the perfect twinkle lights. Not the kind that make you dizzy. These were perfect until I couldn't appreciate the brightness. I need to stay with incandescent. I would recommend if you like LED, if you like the warmth of incandescent I wouldn't purchase. I'm hoping I can return/ exchange for the twinkle incandescent.

These lights are beautiful! They are long lasting, and easier on the eye than regular twinkle lights. I recently bought several more sets, as next Christmas we are going to decorate a small tree on our church's parking lot. Excited to see it lit up! The only downside is that the lights are pricey, but they're unique, long lasting, and positively gorgeous! Highly recommend. Note: before you place your order, make sure you are purchasing Soft Twinkle Lights, not just twinkle lights.

These are really well made strings and the soft twinkle effect is great. It's a nice alternative to the strobe effect from past LED twinkle lights. This twinkle is subtle and well "soft", not harsh. I've hunted for a long time to find true soft twinkle lights and these are perfect! When first plugged in, they pause and blink together, then settle into the random soft twinkle. The color is reminiscent of the old incandescent, but we've got an incandescent light tree topper which looks a tad more yellow so beware of mixing these with older lights. I would highly recommend these lights.
