Meet paper star lights' new and improved cousin: the Aurora Superstar. Made of rugged but lightweight polypropylene, these foldable star lights offer the same beauty and versatility of paper stars, but with tons of upgrades: they're waterproof, colorfast, resist tearing, resist fatigue in their joints and perforations, don't corrode, they're paintable and markable, recyclable, hangable, and they last for years. Use them for outside decorations, or use them inside for the same delicate-looking beauty of paper lanterns. Battery-powered LED lights provide the inner glow that brings them to life. Great for kids' crafts, holiday parties (yes, even outdoors!), Christmas decor and more. This Moravian Star is especially suited for the holidays, and it will last for years -- the Aurora Superstar!

24" LED Fold-Flat White Moravian Star Light, Outdoor Rated

Didn't read the fine print. These are battery operated. I spent two more dollars to buy 50-count mini light strands to use inside. Neighbors wowed over how good they looked on our outdoor tree. No real problem modifying them.

Product description lacked any indication about it being battery operated. I planned on hanging these from my outside tree. I already ran the extension cords, assuming theses were plug in.
